Things you MUST take on a trip !

When going ona trip we usually never know what clothes, shoes or products to take with us, a lot of us just want to take our whole house. We often find our selfs sayin ''Well, I might need this, oh and this too maybe'' and before we know it, we have 5 subcases' that weight 60 pounds each.

Even though, we always take way more stuff that we need, we sometimes forget to take some of the MOST important things. Don't worry, I am here to help you with this problem.

Things you must take:

Camara- This little machine will help you keep memories that will never repeat again.

Ipod, MP3, CD walkman or Tape walkman - You need music everywhere you go. Often, songs will remind you of places. If you play any instrument you can also consider taking them to entretain everyone around you or just to take your mind off things as well.

Light jacket - Even in warm places it may get sort of chilli at times and this is were a light jacket comes in handy.

and at last,

Someone you can have a good time with. Memories are best remembered and best made when you have company who respects and enoys being with you for who you are.

So remember, next time you are packing for a trip don't forget this things !

Attitude and Traveling

Imagine this:
You are going camping for a weekend with your friends to Grand Lake; however no one can bring cell phones, laptops or IPods!

Things you may be thinking:
- 'Oh no, that's not going to be  fun!'
                    Or
- ' It's going to be so much fun!'

Camping and attitude are like two peas in a pot, they have to be together. When you are getting ready to go camping you need to have a positive mind no matter where you are going or how you are going. The reason why I decided to blog about this topic is because many people will often have negative thoughts about camping and they end up ruining their trip themselves. You could be going to the Bahamas with a positive attitude and having a blast or believe it or not, go with a negative attitude and not have one bit of fun.
The way it works is that when you are happy and excited you enjoy everything and want to do everything. When you are mad, sad, or sick you look at everything from the negative side, making everything not fun.
It is important that every traveler out there remembers to always have a positive attitude when traveling so you can always have an amazing time and a trip to remember.

Cenotes

I lived in Mexico up until I was 12 and the thing that I remember enjoying the most was going swimming in the Cenotes close by, Merida, Yucantan, the city where I lived. In case some of you have never seen or been to a cenote, I will try to explain what they are.
They are huge open water pools that are surface connections to subterranean water bodies measuring tens of yards in diameter. Their groundwater flow rate varies between 3 to 3,000 ft, per year. They began to get explored in the beginning of the 20th century.
Most cenotes are connected to each other, rivers and oceans. Some people believe cenotes were formed by rock dissolution and some believe that they were formed when the cretaceous-tertiary extinction event occurred about 230 million years ago and that they were eventually filled with rain water.

Swimming in cenotes and entering the cold, sparkling, clear water is one of the most incredible experiences however, always make sure that  they have been explored and that you are never alone since they do have their dangers.
The are two types of cenotes, the closed in cenotes and the open cenotes.

How I Began to Like Traveling ~

First of all, if you live with my mother you have two choices; to eventually begin to like traveling or to live the rest of your life miserably. So in case you are saying to yourself right now ''What is she talking about?" let me explain you what I mean.
Life with my mother is like a roller coaster, she loves new experiences and visiting new places. I remember sometimes on the weekends, she would get up, pack up some bags and say ''Lets go camping!'' Me and the rest of my family never had much saying into those sorts of decisions either. We would go camping, we would visit new places around the country, meet new people and sometimes we would pack up our van along with our cousins and go camping for the weekend to a new place.
Although we did a lot of traveling and camping, we also did a lot of moving. My parents always found jobs in different cities doing Landscaping and of course when they did we would move along as well, but I can't say I ever complained. I got to know different cities, people, cultures and eventually, BEGAN to enjoy travelling.
